In November 2018 our company has shipped the first batch of filters for Kudankulam NPP unit 3 under construction in India.
The delivery includes two filters AFI-1.0-1.0-С, which belong to safety class 3 and are made entirely of stainless steel.
Products are vertical single-chamber vessels consisting of a body, top and bottom distribute devices.
The top distributive is of the "beam" type with holes.
The lower distributive is a "copying type" with a horizontal collector and distribution beams, on which the filter elements of the FEL-0,2-8,7-1-N-K1/2-V are installed.
The filters are earthquake-resistant and will be installed in the auxiliary reactor building at the mark minus 3,650 m.
All equipment is made and shipped together with complete operational documentation in two languages (Russian and English) and completely conforms to requirements of PNAEG-7-008-89 and to a contract with a foreign Customer.
All materials and components used for the production of items have certificates and passed strict incoming quality control for their use in the nuclear industry.
Before shipment of the filters, various tests were carried out to check the quality of the products:
The carried out tests confirmed the high quality of the supplied products and compliance of the products with all the declared GOSTS and standards.
Delivered batch of filters in the amount of 2 PCs. - only the first most urgent positions. In total, our company plans to manufacture and ship 42 filters for Kudankulam NPP.
Kudankulam NPP is a nuclear power station in India, located in the south of Indian state Tamil Nadu. At present units 1 and 2 have been put into operation. Block 3 and 4 are under construction.
