Water Filter Nozzle (FEL)

Water Filter Nozzle (slotted drainage caps) are the basic elements of the internal drainage distribution assembly of the water-treatment filters. The majority of internal drainage distribution assemblies produced by "TEKO"-FILTER represents a so-called "caps system" consisting of radial pipes or a false bottom equipped with FEL filtering element (slotted drainage caps).

Water Filter Nozzle (slotted drainage caps) are commercially produced in 4 versions:

• version 1 — FEL with filtering surface facing upwards;
• version 2 — FEL with filtering surface facing downwards;
• version 3 — FEL with filtering surface facing downwards and upwards;
• version 4 — FEL made of "TEKO-SLOT" wire-wound frame;
• version 4-T — titanium FEL
• version 4-P — plate-type FEL filtering elements;
• version 4-Pl — plastic FEL slotted drainage caps;
• version 4-PP/N — combined FEL made of stainless steel and plastics.

Water Filter Nozzle are manufactured of 10X18N9 (AISI 304), 12X18N10T (AISI 321), 10X17N13M2T (AISI 316Ti) stainless steel, titanium, as well as of various plastics in compliance with the Specifications.

FEL filtering elements (slotted drainage caps) that have been produced by "TEKO-FILTER" company since 1992 are successfully used in filters of various purposes in different industry sectors: from large electric power stations and metallurgical plants to public and housing utilities and petrochemical industry.

The slot width is essential in terms of designed application. Standard slot widths are 0.2 and 0.4 mm; 0.1 - 1.2 mm slot widths may be produced upon request.
