At the end of 2020, our company began production of an adsorber for the needs of the Atyrau Refinery (Atyrau Refinery, RK, Atyrau), and in February 2021 the product was shipped to the customer.

An adsorber is a device used to separate vapor, gaseous and liquid media by the surface of a porous solid.

The manufactured device corresponds to the I category of explosion hazard of the mixture and is intended for operation in an explosive atmosphere (gas main). The product has impressive dimensions: a diameter of 2.1 meters, a height of almost 9 meters, and its weight is 8.5 tons.

The design of the apparatus was in close cooperation with the operator. The device must replace the old, out of order, and completely repeat the geometry and existing equipment. In the process of implementation, our company has completed all the work on the manufacture and testing of this complex product. All internal types of control were performed: visual-measuring, ultrasonic, capillary, X-ray. Necessary tests have been completed: mechanical and hydraulic. In addition, terminological processing of all welded joints was carried out. Heat treatment protects the welded seams from corrosion, reduces the likelihood of cracking, improves the mechanical properties of the seam, and increases heat resistance.

Supporting documentation has been issued and issued according to customer requirements and equipment class.

The Atyrau Oil Refinery is one of the three leading oil refineries in Kazakhstan, built during the Great Patriotic War, commissioned in September 1945. The owner of the refinery is the KazMunayGas Joint Stock Company. Recently, the Atyrau Refinery underwent a major modernization of part of its infrastructure and production facilities.
