In October 2024, the TEKO-FILTER Manufacturing Enterprise shipped 5 vertical clarification filters FOV 1.4-0.6 to our partner, Yamal LNG OJSC.

This is already the 2nd batch of filters delivered for this project. Last year, we designed and manufactured a similar batch of filters.

 

The FOV 1.4-0.6 filters were manufactured to replace failed foreign-made fiberglass filters.

Material: carbon steel with a special anti-corrosion coating more than 800 microns thick, since the working environment in the filter is condensate with heavy hydrocarbons and other various aggressive impurities.

The customer had an important requirement for the manufactured equipment: it was necessary to strictly maintain the overall dimensions of the old plastic filters in order to use the existing piping without adjusting the project. In addition, it was necessary to design and manufacture filter elements that would withstand high temperatures and aggressive working environments.

To meet the requirements of this technical specification, specialists from TEKO-FILTER LLC designed a unique filter design using plastic inlet and outlet fittings, and also selected high-strength disk filter elements made of PVGF material. All overall dimensions of the products were strictly maintained in accordance with the technical specification.
The upper distribution device is made in the form of a "plate overflow", the lower device is a "false bottom" type.

The equipment was transported by sea. For this, the filters were packed in dense heat-shrinkable film. To date, the equipment has been shipped in full and sent to the customer in the northeast of the Yamal Peninsula.

The Yamal LNG project is being implemented on the Yamal Peninsula beyond the Arctic Circle based on the South Tambey field.
